The Candy Spooky Theater stworzyli w 2003 roku Jack Spooky („komiczny głos horrorowy”, „złośliwa lalka-wampir”) oraz Peggy („bezwstydny bas elektryczny”, „księżniczka erotycznych lalek-wiedźm”). Występowali oni już wcześniej razem w grupie Dororo. Później tego samego roku dołączył do nich jeszcze Zull („brzmienie fascynacji gitarą”, „szalona lalka anatomisty”), który poznał Peggiego w czasach, gdy obaj udzielali się jako muzycy sesyjni w Art Marju Duchain (jako Yuzuru i Meila).

Ich pierwszym wydawnictwem był maksi-singiel Pumpkins Scream in the Dead of Night Parade wydany w marcu 2004, który zaprezentował ich dziwne i cudowne brzmienie niczego nie spodziewającej się publiczności.

W lutym 2005 The Candy Spooky Theater wystąpili na swoim pierwszym Party Monsters Collection 01, imprezie sponsorowanej przez sam zespół, w którym brały także udział inne grupy. Przed końcem roku odbyły się jeszcze dwie edycje Party Monster Collections, za każdym razem z udziałem innych zespołów gościnnych. We wrześniu ukazał się drugi maksi singiel - Wonderland, a w październiku trzeci - Murderland.

The Candy Spooky Theater’s Christmas Special shows & tour

According to the The Candy Spooky Theater’s Official Site, hey will
be holding a 2 days Christmas Special One-Man shows in the month of December.

It will defnitely be a special evening for both the living and dead dolls, because both shows will be taking place at a doll museum, maria † cuore -マリアの心臓- (maria † cuore -Maria no Shinzou-) in Shibuya. On the museum’s website, it says that visitors will need to pay 1000 yen for the entrance, for children of age 12 years and below will be 500yen, while children under 5 years old can enter for free.

The dates of the lives will be December 18th (Saturday) & December 19th (Sunday). The time for the event has yet to be confirmed.

On these two days, the museum will also be releasing a limited edition CD. However, the tracklist and title of the CD has not been announced.Unfortunately, since quite a lot of details are uncertain, we shall update you on the shows as soon as we have more details.

However, if are you in Japan next week and are interested to see them, you can do so because they will also be part of the [SUMMER CARNIVAL 2010 ENCORE TOUR].

The event will be taking place on:
November 22nd (Monday) @ Nanba ROCKETS
November 23rd (Tuesday) @ NagoyaMUSIC FARM

The doors will be open from 17:00 on that day.
Tickets are for sale at 2800yen, but if you are buying on the day of the tour it will cost 3300yen.

Polubiłam ich bardzo za specyfikę brzmienia, bo ma w sobie takie Coś, co przyciągnęło moją uwagę. Uwielbiam głos Jack'a jak mówi. Brzmi wtedy nie ziemsko.
Szkoda, że nie mają tak dużej popularności.
